How many blocks do we have so far?

Well, it is nearly the end of September and you may be curious to know ... how many blocks do we have so far?

Altogether 25 gorgeous blocks have been completed and posted in. We also have some extras sent in by Gwen and Rosalie.

Ideally, we still need another 20 blocks to make this quilt sensational.

So, lovely quilters, perhaps these cold rainy evenings are just the time to put the finishing touces to your artwork.

It is not too late to rope in a few friends and fellow artisans, as long as they can use their own fabric to make up an 8 by 8 inch square (with a 6 by 6 inch pattern in the middle - measure in one inch from each side) ... and as long as they are pretty swift workers! (See How to Make a Quilt Block)

On 19 October, Julie Warren and I will be meeting to discuss setting the quilt and I will be handing all the completed squares over to Julie W at that point.

Thanks again to each of you who has blessed the Marysville Quilt Project with your skill and kind thoughts. It's wonderful to have your involvement.
