Blocks completed by the Stonequarry Quilters

These wonderful women from Wollondilly got together and created 33 beautiful blocks for the Marysville Quilt Project.

Hilary of Picton wrote on behalf of the group:

"We belong to a small community quilting group called the Stonequarry Quilters. Our members live in the Wollondilly Shire of NSW in villages such as Picton, Tahmoor, Bargo and Thirlmere. We read about your project and thought we would like to contribute to it. We just had a weekend away at Gerrigong on the South Coast. Many of the ladies worked on their blocks there. Our very best wishes to you for the success of the project, and also to the people of Marysville and surrounding districts."

Here are some examples of their work:

A big thank you to all the Stonequarry Quilters. We're so glad to have you involved in the project.
