I have just found your website and I would like to congratulate you all on the wonderful blocks you have done.
ReplyDeleteI am only just learning and have to say what an inspiration you all are.
And to the people who receive these quilts I hope it gives them some joy.
My grandson had cancer and was given a quilt he was 9 months old and is now 10 yrs old and still has it on his wall. It certainly gave us as a family hope.

ReplyDeleteI have just found this site. It's amazing! And for someone who has never quilted, (one of the Julies) I bet you get the quilting bug. It happened to me last year. We donated two quilts immediately after the fires so I hope they kept someone warm during the cold nights. Your project is so wonderful as it will be an ongoing memory.
Best wishes to both of you and to everyone who has made a block for you. Maybe you'll continue making the quilts and then I'll join you on the next one.
